Over the course of my 25-year career, I’ve worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Big Lots, Victoria’s Secret, and Gap, Inc. After launching my first business in 2010, I launched my second business, a social enterprise, in 2017 – designing straw handbags, handwoven by weaving co-ops in the Philippines. This job led to many other opportunities including a Director of Marketing and Communications role at Children’s Hunger Alliance, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to feeding food-insecure children.
While the most rewarding part of my job at Children’s Hunger Alliance has been, and continues to be, improving the lives of thousands of children and raising awareness of hunger issues in Ohio, I’ve also gained invaluable experiences. Through my work, I’ve learned new skills, expanded my business network, and assumed many leadership roles, among other things. With a background in entrepreneurship and retail, I’m passionate about improving brand awareness and customer engagement through the power of digital marketing. Additionally, I’m also a board member of the Asian American Commerce Group. |
