Michele has extensive experience in strategy and marketing communications in economic development, healthcare, foundations and human service organizations. Key areas of expertise include governance, strategy, marketing, communications, digital marketing, all aspects of fundraising, brand management, change management, and employee communications. She has presented nationally on various fundraising topics and on brand strategy.
Her work on Using Brand Management to Advance Fundraising Goals received the AHP (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy Journal) Professional Paper Competition. She earned her Master of Science in Communications from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America. She holds a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Johns Hopkins University and
the Institute of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Michele's Board experience includes serving as the President of the Tilton Society, a Board member of United Way Delaware
and the Brandywine Chapter of AFP. She is immediate past Chair of the Board for the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement; and former President of the Delaware Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America as well as President of the Delaware Chapter of The American Marketing Association. In her current role Michele is Director of Marketing and External Relations for Delaware Prosperity Partnership, the state lead economic development resource.
