Brief Bio: MICHAEL S. HERRON

Mike is currently the Head & Neck Sales Executive for KARL STORZ Endoscopy in Philadelphia and Delaware. For over 18 years, Mike has been involved in complex selling of minimally invasive surgery medical devices and quality solutions. He relies on leadership, teamwork, high impact marketing, and innovation by design to keep efforts focused and moving at top speed. In 2020, Mike was honored as the #1 Head & Neck Sales Executive of the Year for his efforts and results.
Originally from EHT, NJ, Mike started working early, at age 13. He started as a farmhand, then cut grass, raked flower beds, parked cars at an Atlantic City casino, and bussed tables. In his later teens and into college, Mike worked summers on the Ocean City Beach Patrol in NJ, and competed as a rower. Mike played Football and Track & Field at both Absegami High School and at the United States Naval Academy. At the Naval Academy, he graduated with an Engineering degree and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U. S. Marine Corps. After serving for over 10 years, his final rank in active duty was Captain. As a Marine, he spent a season as a Navy Football Coach, then went on to Marine Officer School then flight school to become an aviator in Marine Corps jets. He attributes much of his can-do spirit and success to his family, his time at the Naval Academy, his experiences in the Marines, and very strong youth sports programs with parents and coaches that really cared.
Mike is a devoted husband and father of two adult children both with musical abilities. He and his wife Diane, are empty nesters living in Doylestown, PA near Peddler's Village. They enjoy exercise to stay youthful, tending to a vegetable and flower garden, and Mike enjoys playing stringed instruments, particularly guitar.
