Jaap Lamme is the Vice President of Operations and Customer Care at The Miner Corporation, a leading provider of installation, maintenance and repair services on loading docks and doors, as well as material handling equipment. Jaap’s primary focus is to drive a customer centric culture of high quality, repeatable and reliable service execution across Miner’s network of Field Service operations. This includes the development and operation of standard operating processes aligned with customer priorities, customer centric expertise and competence development in Miner’s Operations teams and leverage of (information) technology to enhance execution.
Prior to joining Miner, Jaap spent 27 years at General Electric, where his career combined elements of Customer Service and Support, Quality Management and Assurance and Information Technology. Jaap was instrumental in driving GE’s early adoption of B2B eCommerce, levering budding technologies into GE’s customer strategies. He was also responsible for implementing an integrated Quality Management System for GE’s Energy division. Jaap is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Originally a native of the Netherlands, Jaap now lives with his wife Cindy in Marietta, GA. Their children Max and Olivia attend Auburn University and the University of Georgia respectively. |
