Having worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, I have had the unique experience of understanding how management, budgeting, marketing and implementation works from both perspectives. Stemming from my Master's Thesis, which compared the paradigms of both sectors and their business practices, I felt it was important to gain this experience in order to fully understand the driving forces for both segments.
This diverse background has provided me with experience in creating and implementing programs that are effective and cost-efficient, ranging from national marketing programs to grass-roots community efforts. Working through a variety of integrated methods and practices, I have had the opportunity develop and manage programs and services that appeal to all aspects of consumers and partners. Some aspects are traditional methods of advertising, direct mail and event management; growing industries, such as social media and technology; and solid business practices of strategic and partnership development. |
