Carmen Sessoms, FHFMA serves as the VP, Customer Experience at Change Healthcare. With over 20 years of progressive strategic leadership and healthcare experience in advisory services, product management, business development, strategic planning and consulting, Carmen has worked with all organizational levels in ambulatory and acute care markets for patient access and reimbursement. She also has experience as a revenue cycle leader in academic and for profit health systems. Becker’s Hospital Review nominated Carmen as a Female Vendor: RCM Leaders To Know in 2018.
Carmen is a past president of the Georgia Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) chapter, a recipient of HFMA’s Medal of Honor and possesses the designations of CHFP (Certified Healthcare Financial Professional) and FHFMA (Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management). Carmen has had speaking engagements and published articles with ACHE,HFMA, HIMSS, HANY, NAHAM, HealthLeaders and Becker’s Hospital Review. Carmen received her undergraduate degree and MBA from Mercer University. |
