Beth started her career as a media buyer and planner at Jordan, McGrath Case and Taylor.
In 1991, Beth saw the potential in the Hispanic market and opened up Gatorade’s media buy to include Spanish language TV and Radio. This made Gatorade one of the first “marquee” brands to advertise in Spanish Language media. From there Beth moved into the role of New Business Development Director at Wells, Rich Greene, an agency known for developing iconic creative like the the “plop, plop, fizz, fizz – oh what a relief it is” campaign for Alka Seltzer as well as the “I Love New York” tourism campaign that featured the Big Red Apple. While at Wells, she secured the Heineken account for the agency using the idea of the Red Star that has now become synonymous with the brand. Beth was recruited to Yahoo! at the beginning of the internet revolution. While there, she pioneered the automotive vertical. She ran the first digital marketing ad for any automotive Tier 1,2 or 3 advertiser, a run of site banner on Yahoo! for Chevrolet that featured the “Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet” slogan. Beth was then transferred to Miami to start the US Hispanic and Latin American Divisions for Yahoo! in Coral Gables, FL. After leaving Yahoo!, Beth worked at Univision Communications for 11 years, as the VP of Research and Digital, helping Univision to update their online platform and worked to introduce this new platform to large advertisers looking to reach Hispanics online. Following Univision, Beth has worked at several companies in the automotive digital space, including L2T, AutoLoop and C-4 Analytics. Beth is happy to have found a home in Stream Companies as the VP of Client Strategy. |
