Adam Miller is a strategist, executive, engineer, and diplomat. After a career as a naval officer in submarines and foreign affairs, Adam brought his extensive leadership and critical thinking experience to the manufacturing industry where he serves both internal and external customers. With a "people-first" focus on continuous improvement and process refinement, he drives change through intelligent factual analysis and creative solution development. He builds teams that obsess quality, embody accountability, and prioritize relationships.
Adam’s naval career took him from the oceans’ depths aboard nuclear submarines to the U.S. State Department where he developed U.S. policy on North Korea and was part of the team that prepared the U.S.-North Korea summits in 2018 and 2020. Since leaving active duty at the end of 2018, Adam has been a leader in manufacturing and is currently transitioning industries to renewable energy. Adam holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, an M.A. in Strategy and National Security from the U.S. Naval War College, is a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and advanced certifications in nuclear power. He speaks Korean, Indonesian, and Spanish, and lives near Ballantyne with his wife and daughter. |
